HANDZ OF HOPE is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
Our mission is to restore hope, dignity, and opportunity by meeting the essential needs of individuals and families facing hardship. Through nutritious meals, quality clothing, free haircuts, and access to vital community resources, we are committed to serving the less fortunate with compassion, respect, and excellence. We believe that every person deserves to be treated with dignity and given the support, encouragement, and resources needed to build a brighter future. By partnering with our community, volunteers, and local organizations, we strive to create lasting change, empower lives, and inspire hope—one person, one family, and one act of kindness at a time.

Handz of Hope extends sincere gratitude to Unity Charlotte International, Barclays of South Park, and One Church of Charlotte for their partnership and support in making this initiative a great success.
The effects of homelessness on homeless people are large. They range from health issues to feeling trapped. It is believed that many homeless individuals have failed in their lives to cope with their difficulties which makes them alienate themselves from the rest of the world.
Not having a home can make it harder for individuals to find a job, stay healthy and maintain relationships.
